Monocyte Cell Therapy

Monocyte cell therapy at Alster Lake Clinic uses specially prepared immune cells from your own blood to reduce inflammation, lower the burden of senescent (“aged”) cells and support the reversal of biological age. From a small blood sample, we isolate a subgroup of white blood cells called monocytes and reprogram them in a GMP‐certified laboratory into regulatory immune cells (M2‐type macrophages, also called PCMOs or Mregs) that act like “peacekeepers” for your immune system.

When these cells are re‐infused, they help shift the immune system out of a chronically inflamed state and back into balance. This reduces silent inflammation and the influence of senescent cells, which continuously release inflammatory signals and accelerate aging and disease risk. In this calmer, more regulated immune environment, repair processes can restart, and genes linked to healthy aging and longevity can be reactivated without overwhelming the body with stress signals. Because the treatment uses the patient’s own cells and monocyte‐derived regulatory products with more than 20 years of clinical experience, monocyte cell therapy has a very good safety profile with little to no significant side effects observed in appropriate use.

Monocyte cell therapy unfolds its full potential when combined with ALC’s infusion protocols and, where appropriate, VSEL therapy. The infusions first create a supportive micro‐environment, while the monocyte‐derived cells then work to “reset” immune balance and inflammation, so that regenerative signals from your own stem cells can work more effectively and with a favourable long‐term safety profile.

Treatment Highlights

  •  Uses your own monocytes, reprogrammed into regulatory immune cells, to reduce chronic inflammation.

  • Lowers the burden of senescent (“aged”) cells and supports reversal of biological aging.

  • Autologous treatment with over 20 years of clinical experience and a very good safety profile.
